AROOSTOOK CHAPTER OF CREDIT UNIONS HITS THE TRAILS FOR CHARITY
The Aroostook Chapter of Maine Credit Unions held their 10th annual Snowmobile Run on Thursday, February 10th. Hosted by NorState FCU, 21 riders hit the Northern Maine trails to raise funds for the Ending Hunger Campaign, Special Olympics and CULAC. Riders enjoyed a beautiful day and groomed trails from Madawaska to Caribou – traveling roughly 135 miles. With the help of generous sponsors and rider registrations, a total of $4200 was raised. Along with the Snowmobile Run, the Chapter holds two other fundraising events during the year: an ATV run hosted by Acadia FCU and a golf tournament hosted by The County FCU.
